Managing Agent for appr. 31,000 sqm

Background
Eurocontrol Maastricht UAC is a European institution which controls the airspace activities over and above 7,500 meters in the Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg and North-West Germany. The incentive to find a partner for facility management was to professionalise the facility organisation to and to increase flexibility.

Our role
ARCADIS AQUMEN as Managing Agent manages the facility portfolio Soft Services for Eurocontrol. This is done in the offices and control room of Eurocontrol at Maastricht Airport. The aim is to optimise service processes and improve customer satisfaction.
The acquisition involved the transfer of two employees.

The scope of services includes:
Archiving, Meetings, Catering, Motor pool, Cleaning, Paper Supplies, Conference Rooms, Projects, Furniture, Reporting, Green area, Space Management and Removals, Help Desk, Waste, Mail Handling.

Added Value
With input of our expertise in reporting, AQUMEN ARCADIS has been able to optimise and professionalise the monthly, quarterly and annual reports. The implementation of performance management and improvement of the project process, lead to increased customer satisfaction and a significantly lower number of complaints.
After the contract start, the amount of the managed FM spend increased by over 160%. By achieving the improvement of operational processes the management of this enlarged larger portfolio is done at lower costs.
