Background
NXP is an independent manufacturer of semiconductors that provides engineers and designers for more than fifty years of semiconductor and software for high quality applications in mobile communications, consumer electronics, security systems, electronic payment systems, network connectivity, entertainment and network systems for passenger cars.

Our role
NXP searched for a partnership with a first class supplier in which services could be outsourced at the maximum. AAFM was the partner that NXP selected for the partnership. The assumptions for the contract show a very strong focus on savings and quality among other things like integrated real estate and facility management for NXP in the Netherlands and operational excellence in a partnership based on mutual respect and trust.

The service portfolio covers the sites in Nijmegen and Eindhoven (at the High Tech Campus) and is subdivided into the main Building and Environment, Office Services, Projects, Communications and Hospitality:
Audiovisual services, Event Management, Space Management, Planting, Relocations, Cleaning, Security, Office Supplies, Signage, Capital Works, Environment & Safety, Special Client Services, Catering, Multi Client Service Desk, Technical Maintenance, Change Management, Project Management, Data Management, Mail & Logistics, Churn, Energy & Utility Management, Reception, Terrain Maintenance, Reprografics.
The ousourcing included the transfer of 5 employees.

The added value that AAFM provides, consists of the delivery of market compliant and market distinctive services, the provision of a unique service package with uniform tariffs and with clear SLA per customer group and clear and transparent costs/budget per building and per workplace.
