Case Study SABIC Europe

Background
SABIC Europe is a world leader in the development and licensing of processes and catalysts. The SABIC Group is the largest petrochemical player in the Middle East and number four of the world in polyolefins. SABIC sells nearly six million tonnes of polymers, base chemicals and intermediates in Europe.

Our role
The services that ARCADIS AQUMEN provides to SABIC consists of managing a full range of services to locations on-site and in the European headquarters. On the basis of cost and performance management, we guarantee an agreed quality.
Two employees of SABIC were transferred to ARCADIS AQUMEN.

The services AQUMEN ARCADIS provides are:
Catering, Cleaning, Technical Maintenance, Conference rooms, Service Desk, Telephony, Project Management, Taxi Services and Real Estate Management.

Added Value
SABIC searched for the knowledge of ARCADIS AQUMEN in the organisation of the services in the European headquarters. Benchmarking of costs, the constant management of the suppliers and the flexibility of our organisation, have led to the right service appropriate to the appearance of the headquarter building. Moreover, a considerable cost reduction is achieved.
The acquisition of technical maintenance of on-site buildings were associated with a critical assessment by the former operators. By introducing our maintenance methodology, the complaints decreased and a savings of 20% is achieved.
Eventually, this has led to improved performance, including:

  • improved quality of service;
  • guaranteed cost savings;
  • transparency in cost and quality;
